RingMaster Users and Groups

This information is or the RingMaster Server administrator or SuperUser

Only registered RingMaster users can interact with the Ringmaster system.

Once someone is given a Ringmaster username and password they have front door access to the RingMaster system. Specific project or file permissions are then set for individual projects.

Additionally users can be put in to collections or groups. This allows you to assign access to a site or part of a site to a group, whose membership may change over time. For example if you wanted all graphic artists to have access to an images folder of the site, you would create a group called artists, and add each user who might serve in that role to that group. This lets you add or remove users from a role without having to change permissions for particular projects. Groups let you allow many people to have the same level of access without having them share a password and identity so that you can still track usage and add and remove individual people.
